DRAFTER/DESIGNER
JOB SUMMARY
S1A1 is looking for a drafter to work with our team of engineers to convert designs into technical plans.
Essential Functions
Drafter responsibilities include gathering drawings and specifications to produce final designs
Create detailed technical drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
Ability to interpret architectural or structural construction plans
Familiar with local codes or jurisdiction requirements such as IRC
Collaborate with engineering team to gather product and structural requirements and designs
Calculate dimensions, weight limitation and requirements in materials
Create detailed designs with CAD software
Prepare rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team
Required Competencies

3-5 yrs. hands-on experience using CAD software
Experience with Revit is a plus but not required
Familiar with Bluebeam
